*It’s a thrill when you ram one ball into the other to score”

Setup & How to Play

  1. Unpack the Ram Board. Pull the legs apart and stake it securely into the ground.

  2. Measure out 28 feet from the board using the 4 ft starting line. You can adjust the distance shorter or longer—just make sure everyone is having fun.

  3. Secure the starting line with the supplied stakes.

  4. To determine the order of play, write the number of each Rammer on separate pieces of paper and place them in a hat, or use cards. Each player draws to establish the order.

  5. Each player is allowed 8 practice tosses before official play begins. Always throw from behind the starting line—take aim and RAM away!

  6. If a Rammer steps on or over the starting line, it’s a foot foul. Any points scored on that throw are deleted, and if possible, the ball is removed from play.

  7. After 8 throws, total up your score. The next Rammer then takes their turn.

  8. Players can use different styles of play—standing, kneeling on one or two knees—as long as they stay behind the starting line.

  9. No overhand tossing is allowed; all throws must be underhand.
